UNUSED_NEPTUNE_CLUSTER_DECOMMISSION_RECOMMENDED

Understand​

Clusters with no activity incur unnecessary costs. This violation indicates that a Neptune cluster had no activity for the configured period.

Validate​

Check the CurrConnections metric in CloudWatch. This policy scans based on the frequency set (every 12 hours by default).

Triage​

If left unchecked, costs persist without value. No outages are expected since the cluster is inactive.

Act​

Consider decommissioning or archiving the cluster to reduce costs.

Reflect​

If the alert is not valuable, adjust inactiveDays or disable the policy.
